This new 40,000 square foot facility is designed to manufacturer salt water taffy which is a sugary, sticky treat in a variety of flavors. The kitchen is unconditioned with a large industrial exhaust hood and filtered make-up air. The conditioning room required 80 deg. ambient temperature at 20% relative humidity. A roof mounted desiccant humidifier with a gas-fired regeneration heater and a DX post cooling system. The facility also has a large warehouse, a low pressure steam boiler for cooking and a screw type air compressor.
